Roosevelt Elementary’s award-winning MIE program encourages students to explore other cultures through lessons that integrate core curriculum with the arts.

MIE choir, violin and dance students will perform Chinese folk songs and the ribbon dance, while other second-graders present character studies and visual art pieces based on Chinese astrological signs.

Students and guests will also enjoy a musical performance by a Chinese ensemble from the California Institute of the Arts.
