It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to Roosevelt Elementary, a comprehensive community school, where we are committed to providing exceptional educational experiences that nurture the whole child. At Roosevelt, we believe that every child is more than just a student; they are a budding musician, a curious learner, and a valued member of our vibrant community. With opportunities to learn and thrive in every area, we are committed to helping your child reach their full potential, both academically and socially.

 

Roosevelt offers many opportunities for students, including the Music Immersion Experience. Through this unique program, all students participate in a music fundamentals program, and there are additional opportunities for after school instrument classes at no charge to families. Most students leave Roosevelt proficient in at least three instruments, and there are regular performance opportunities to build confidence and pride.

 

Academic support is another cornerstone of the Roosevelt experience. Programs include reading and math intervention, English Language support, and free after school tutoring. We are well equipped with educational professionals to support students with different needs, including a school psychologist, a speech and language pathologist, a school counselor, and several specially credentialed teachers to address a variety of learning needs.

 

Finally, Roosevelt is proud to be a designated Community School. We are dedicated to family engagement, parent education, strong neighborhood connections, and providing resources beyond the traditional classroom learning. We host regular workshops and events to keep parents connected and involved in their child's education.
